Meet Your Doula
Hi, I'm Rachel — doula, childbirth educator, and your biggest advocate through one of the most transformative journeys of your life.
I came to birth work the way most doulas do — through my own experiences. I've given birth twice in a supportive hospital setting, and I'm currently preparing to welcome my third baby in a birth center. Each of those experiences deepened my belief that how a woman is supported during birth matters profoundly — not just physically, but emotionally and mentally.
I've had the privilege of supporting families across a wide range of birth experiences — from fully unmedicated births to epidural-supported labors, from first-time mamas to experienced mothers approaching birth in a new way. What I've learned is this: there is no one right way to give birth. There is only YOUR way — and my job is to help you find it, prepare for it, and own it.
I bring a deep commitment to true health and nutrition into my work, because I believe that nourishing your body throughout pregnancy and postpartum isn't just good advice — it's foundational to how you feel, how you labor, and how you recover. I also bring something that textbooks can't fully teach: the ability to hold space for the whole woman in front of me.
I work with many clients who carry anxiety into the birth space, and some who carry unresolved trauma. In those moments, my role is to be a steady, calm presence — someone who helps you breathe through the hard parts, reminds you of your strength when you forget it, and walks alongside you without judgment.
My greatest passion is helping women tune into their own minds and bodies. Because when you truly understand what your body is capable of — when you feel the confidence, strength, and resilience that has always lived inside you — birth becomes something you don't just survive. It becomes something you own.
I would be honored to be part of your story.
